Kat, who worked for Ralph Lauren, had the idea for a while and recently they made it happen.

The resulting ties and bowties combine unconventional fabrics and expert craftsmanship.

We can't decide if we prefer the preppy Mackers or the hipster Giles or the more conservative Fergus or bold plaid Field.

For that matter, bow tie or tie?

They're all neck and neck.
