You're no stranger to fortuitous accidents. Just the other day, you tripped over dirty laundry and landed underneath your bed -- where you found your missing earring.
Serendipity struck Shayla Boger, too. The yoga instructor created LiveSavvy, which includes a line of headbands that keep your hair out of your eyes during downward-facing dog (karma), cover up your roots (lucky) and save you from bad hair days (kismet).
Boger selects the fabrics, favoring soft cottons (and therefore washable), speckled with demure polka dots or brushed with whimsically fresh flowers. Then each headband is hand-sewn with colorfully offsetting thread by the women at Project Regina, a local sewing program for immigrants and refugees. Bonus: Ten percent of proceeds go to the Tubman Alliance, a local center for women.
There are kid sizes too, so gals of all ages can fend off the summer humidity in style. Just don't be surprised if you get heaps of compliments.
Because it'll hardly be a twist of fate.
