Our hair has the blues.
The Subarctic cold makes strands dull and the dry air makes them static-clingy.
While we love the usual products, it's time to supplement. So to wet hair, we've added three spritzes of
Intelligent Nutrients' Spray-On Detangler. This leave-in conditioner has a rather strong fragrance, but don't let it scare you.
We were surprised (okay, shocked!) at how our nearest and dearest couldn't help but compliment our appearance. A "you look really nice" is especially appreciated when you should have had your hair cut a month ago. Full credit goes to the the extra shine and oomph that the Detangler provided.
In case you haven't heard, this wonder-product is made in Minnesota. Intelligent Nutrients is Aveda Founder Horst Rechelbacher's new company that concocts certified organic beauty products. The line was recently named "breakthrough product of the year" by Women's Wear Daily. The premise is that anything you put on your body, you should be able to put in your body.
No, the Detangler won't be in a cocktail any time soon, but it will be the sugar-coating on our tresses.
Spray-On Detangler, $39,
Intelligent Nutrients, 983 E. Hennepin, Mpls, 612-617-2002. Also available at
