Tonight's Third Thursday at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (6 to 9 p.m., couldn't be timed better! They've created a po-up indoor park for us to carouse in. We hope it's like Walter De Maria's Earth Room<, but better smelling.

Just in time to actually bundle up in the stuff you buy -- there's a huge sale all over Galleria. From Friday through Sunday, you can shop the semi-annual Galleria clearance experience (69th and France Av, Edina). Look for 70 to 80 percent off at Arafina (winter accessories pictured), 20 to 30 percent off at Epitome, 50 percent off at Hammer Made, an additional 25 percent off sale merchandise at Melly and to percent off essentials at STYLEDLIFE.
