Give and get
Spring into the Gap with a deal. Through May 29, bring in a clothing donation to any Gap, GapKids, BabyGap, or GapBody store and you'll get 30 percent off your entire purchase. Clothing donations will be sold in Goodwill's 21 retail stores.
Sweat it out
Watch out, mall walkers. There will be dancing in the halls at the Mall of America on Saturday morning (8 to 9:30 a.m., 952-883-2121) as Nordstrom hosts a
Zumba workout. Once your endorphins kick in, you'll also be able to shop the store's exclusive Zella line.
Brunch bunch
What can make a mimosa even sweeter? A mimosa with a live jazz soundtrack. At
Tryg's (11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, 3118 W Lake St, 612-920-7777), enjoy brunch with the musical stylings of Jana Anderson, Chris Lomheim and Jason Weisman.
Accessorize awesomely
In our fantasy jewelry box, we have a full collection of
Stephanie Albertson's gemstone rings. Try them all on this weekend during a trunk show at
Max's and stick around to celebrate the shop's fifth anniversary on Saturday night (5 to 9 p.m., Max's, 3826 Grand Way, St. Louis Park, 952-922-8364). Anniversary party: 5 to 9 p.m.. We predict that there will be lots of chocolate.
Find fashions
There's a new pop-up shop in town. Check out
Fashion Exchange (10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, The Bluffs party room, 7475 Flying Cloud Dr., Eden Prairie). There are oodles of designer pre-owned clothing, accessories and shoes such as Stella McCartney blouses for $30 and up.
Arty party
We'll give some more suggestions tomorrow, but make sure you block out plenty of time to tackle
