Before computers took over the world, you saw a lot more handwriting.
Ever since email took over from snail mail, the art of calligraphy has been less prevalent.
Luckily it's not a lost art. Meet Queen Quills Calligraphy, a.k.a. Emily Snyder.
The Rochester native and lifelong artist stumbled into her current trade while working in a high-end stationery boutique in Manhattan. She studied at the Society of Scribes in New York before launching her own business a few years ago.
Now based in Minneapolis, Emily crosses t's and dots i's for private clients on everything from creating logos to addressing envelopes to writing place cards using a number of font styles from Sweet Bay to Mignonette to Whippoorwill.
It's safe to say that she has the write stuff.
